You would think it was a regular Tuesday at 2am in an innocuous year of nothing happening by the line of questions here. Is the tea party getting pi*sy or Dems going socialist? What does it take to say "NATIONAL EMERGENCY"? to these posters? Does an alien or Arab have to land in times square on the Celebrity Channel (CNN) to make people care about their fellow citizens in the Gulf and the fact that this is the worst disaster ever known to mankind's' history? Is everyone smoking pot or something and claiming it should be legal so we all ignore real life? Seriously, what does it take to move people in the right direction of problem/ solution instead of insane bickering about inconsequentials?
Suggestion:
Well it all got started when Bush declared: "You're either with us, or you're against us."
Ever since that day, the whole country's been split down the middle and unable to compromise on *anything*.
Pretty good for a single Republican President, huh? Just one simple sentence and the whole nation is instantly polarized along political lines.
I'd often offer up ideas, but then I'd be called a "socialist"–because I actually care about people–and that's the end of that avenue.
Much like your suggestion that all Democrats–and liberals–are socialists.
Makes it soooo much easier, don't you think? Just lump a whole group of people into one pot and slap and instant label on them!
