- Car over heated 2 years ago before getting the entire cooling system replaced.
- I rarely drive it, but when I do it needs coolant after every 100-200 miles.
- Very light smoke from under hood
- Odd smell out of AC ducts.
- Auto shop informed me it may have a blown head gasket.
- oil light comes on now and then, but dip stick says full.
Its obvious there is a leak with the smell and the smoke and it seems to be mostly coolant if any oil at all. But the entire cooling system was replaced, and it never over heats so if it is a blown HG wouldn't I lose as much oil as coolant? I don't know a lot about cars so thanks for any help at all…oh and I have been reading up on the symptoms of blown and cracked, what are the symptoms of a blown HG?

Suggestion:
Symptom of blown head gasket or cracked head is oil/foam in the coolant and/or coolant in the oil.
Your problem hopefully is just a leaky valve cover gasket. Oil maybe leaking to the hot exhaust manifold, that's the light smoke and smell like burning rubber.
Common and simple replacement job. If the spark plugs has never being changed, it's a good time to do both. Just another 15mins to do the spark plugs with the valve cover replacement.
