What Causes Heart Disease?

I don't understand how it happened.Im 12 years old.I obviously don't smoke, drink.I am active every day riding my bike and jogging.I am thin and my family only eats organic, natural, fresh food.

My brother has kawasaki disease since he was 3 months old and my dad had heart failure/irregular heartbeat in 2007 when he was 37.So It runs in the family but Im not sure how it happened. All I remember is being in the movie theater and having a bit of trouble breathing and then my arms starting tingling and my stomach hurt.I just went home and it went away but came back right after christmas.Im fine and healthy now.

Any ideas?

Suggestion:

Heredity ( traits received from parents and grandparents ), is a big part of what happens in your body. You can have and excellent diet, you can exercise, you can avoid both smoking and drinking in your life, but certain things may or may not happen with ones body. It just depends on the traits you inherit from your parents. Medicines have made great advances in the past 20 years, but it takes time to find cures for some diseases.
