Smoking is a ruthless, silent killer. The number of people suffering from smoking- related diseases has drastically increased over the years. Most smokers would say it’s easier to give up sex for awhile than cigarettes.
Some people respond to more traditional methods. Other people respond to less conventional methods. I myself managed to quit smoking after trying quite a few different methods. I tried several of the more traditional methods to stop smoking and I have to admit I struggled to quit and was frustrated to the point that I almost resigned to the fact that I would be a smoker forever. In the end I found success with something a little less traditional.
Health factor
More than half of the smokers die from smoking- related diseases. When a person is fully aware of the effects of smoking they may try to reduce and gradually come out of the habit. Furthermore smoking may affect your love life, after a smoke your breath remains of smoke for hours, most common symptoms of smokers are; stained teeth, yellow fingers and frequent coughs.
Smoking leads to mouth related cancers involving the lips, tongue and nose. The cancer can then spread to other parts of the body such as; lungs, bones, brain etc.
Support
You have a better chance of kicking the habit if you have the necessary help and support. Participating in a support program maybe more effective than trying to quit on your own.
If you really want to quit smoking, support is the best chance you’ve got, a step in the right direction.
