i started smoking weed every night gradually for about the past 3/4 months. i smoke at night so my gf doesnt know nobody really knows its something i like to do to unwind at the end of the day. i smoke up on our patio out back. she came outside randomly ..she was sleeping.,,.and saw me blazing. shes pretty pissed off that id didnt tell her i was smoking. i used to have a problem with heroin and so i completely cut off everything including weed and booze. so she shes upset and doesnt like me smoking up.
to be honest im not going to give up smoking

Suggestion:
Well it could be a trust problem… if pot smoking is something that she's really opinionated about and you didn't tell her that you smoke, I could see how that would offend her. Because now, how does she know that you aren't also using other drugs when she's away?
So because of your past heroin problem, I would say that she's not overreacting. If you could just find a way to explain to her that weed isn't a problem for you and won't lead back to heroin, then hopefully she can learn to accept it. And maybe even join you???
