Myself and my bf recently got hypnosis for smoking, after 2 days we where back to square one, it didn't work at all! The guy doing it charged us €250 and said that it removes the need desire to smoke but all he did was quote allan carrs book. I had it done 4 yrs ago with a different guy and it worked for 1 month but the 1st time a wanted a cigarette i had one! i feel conned this time because for the 2 days i was craving smoking, there was tears and all!! but the previous time i didn't and couldn't stand the smell of smoke.
i know some of you will think i was silly giving my money to this guy but i'm desperate to give up!
Do i have any comeback or can i demand a refund?

Sounds like you've been ripped off, but it's virtually impossible to claim a refund.
Hypnosis works for some people but not for others. You're one of the nots. Don't waste any more money on it. In the UK, you can get help through the NHS and I expect there's a similar scheme in Ireland.
