Smokers Car – Danger to Health ?

I recently bought a car (from dealer), not knowing it had belonged to a prolific smoker. In spite of valeting it still stinks, more so when warm outside or with heater or cooler blower on. Garage offering to revalet it. Will the smell ever go, are there any long term health risks, should the garage have known and disclosed information – one owner car, supplied and serviced by dealer from new and repurchased from terminally ill owner ( not sure but could be smoking related illness )

Suggestion:

Ahh Yes, the 'Smokers Car of Death' – always a bad choice, but then again you could spend half your life walking around in Polluted Public Domains wearing a silly mask & carrying around an Oxygen bottle, but then one day your good Doctor could accidentally over prescribe you & all would be for nothing?! So my advice would be to live a little and forgive others habits as they would forgive yours http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9K4BKkLaCI

It can be

LOL of course not, its just an smell thats in the seats or whatever, not a gas. try washing it and putting an air freshinor

No, that would be what they are trying to pass as "3rd hand smoke" It's total bull. I understand that you don't like the smell, but have it detailed and steamed…the smell will go over time, but there are no health risks..no worries
