Should I Quit Smoking Weed?

I'm torn. I've been smoking weed for more than five years now and I'm caught as to whether or not it's about time to quit. Thing is, it hasn't really posed any kinds of risks in my life other than its own taboo, so I don't feel this way as it's taking a toll on the rest of my life, but instead, it's more about being mature, and not having to carry around a label as a stoner. The past two years I've smoked almost every day, but I get by in college, work, athletics and socially without any kind of real consequences. I enjoy smoking quite a bit, but sometimes it gives me bad paranoia. So if anyone's ever smoked for a while and stopped, or kept smoking, what is the answer? In the long-run, is weed just one of life's pleasures or is blinding me from reality?

Suggestion:

When you can look at yourself and honestly ask yourself if it's time to quit, then it's time to quit.
Sounds dumb, but few long term marijuana smokers have that kind of self awareness or sense of perspective about their habit. Most prefer to be lost in a haze of denial and justification and rationalizing. It sounds like you're ready to hang up the habit, even if it's just for a while.

Kick the habit for a bit. If anything, give your lungs and your brain a rest from that crap.
