I got all 4 wisdom teeth out on Thursday morning. I know that you are not suppose to smoke as it can cause dry socket because of the sucking motion, and the smoke can irritate the areas. I smoked a little bit of weed however to help ease the pain and rinsed with warm salt water afterwards. My question is is it alright to have a cigarette (obviously I will do the rinse afterwards) or am I still putting myself at risk for these things?
Suggestion:
You should put a piece of guaze over the area while you smoke. I've had dry sockets before after wisdom teeth extractions, and trust me I'd rather wait if I were you. It's very very pain full.
