Am currently about 7wks with my first midwife appointment next week.
I want to tell my family after 12 weeks because of the whole bad luck/miscarriage business. I also know about the whole pram thing… I want to start buying things but when is best to wait until? (I have started saving aswell for anything else I may need) And are there any other superstitions etc?
Also is there any way of telling gender before 18 weeks without an accurate conception date? I know which week it was but not the day as we have sex daily… Also has anyone found the Chinese gender prediction to be accurate? Uhh and is there anything else I need to know..
Oh I take extra vitamins etc so know about that
Do smoke and am not looking to give up but have cut down.
Don't drink and have given up smoking weed as well
So no lectures on health please as I am fully aware of things like that. Thanks in advance x 
Suggestion:
the chinese gender was wrong for me. Although the gold necklace over the palm worked for me. Cut down on coffee if you drink or tea or sugarly drinks. Get decent nutrition. Can't say too mcuh else other than you should quit … but you know that so I'm out.
