4. cliche… because people say this a lot to mean that women get cranky during their cycle
5. dramatic irony because the audience knows whats going to happen when the characters dont

7. idiom.. it means people like to keep the good things and throw out the bad

12. dead metaphor… because "relieve himself" means "pee" but people use that so much today that its not thought of as a metaphor so its "dead" metaphor
13. proverb for sure. it means "It's better to have a small real advantage than the possibility of a greater one."
14. understatement. shaqs 7'1"… yea he's a freakingg tall guy..
15. implied metaphor. its not directly stated but it compares "we" to a "ship" perhaps? since ships sail…
16. hyperbole…she cant be THAT skinny unless shes a toothpick.. but then again, to run around in the shower?… definitely hyperbole.
17. verbal irony/sarcasm… because she obviously did not have "coordination" if she fell.. but she also said it so it might be verbal irony
18. situational irony.. because you dont expect that to happen. hes a diver! he should have water experience but the mere bathtub overtakes him…
