I saw a stupid ad for one in a pop up on the internet. it was like "No second hand smoke, No bad breath or yellow teeth, No ash or flame, Same nicotine fix…" ect.
Suggestion:
Electric Cigs are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I've been using an electric cigarette for almost a year.
"Same nicotine fix"-You are inhaling and exhaling a vapor of nicotine and flavor and yes it does give me the same fix, but in a diffrent application. You don't sit down to smoke an ecig like you did a regular cig. You take a few puffs here and there.
"No ash or flame"-It is electric, powered by a battery (the long part of an ecig) so no flame, and because its not burning, there is no ashes or cigarette smell.
"Second hand smoke"-There isn't the 4,000+ chemicals like there are in regular cigs. In theory there isn't anything harmful in them and no second hand smoke. But, there isn't much medical information on them, as clinical research hasn't completed.
"No Bad Breath & Yellow": I bleached my teeth right after I got my ecig and they are still white. Everyone gets bad breath, but, I have noticed that my breath stays fresher longer.
It is so convenient, I don't have to go out side to smoke in public places or even my own home (to avoid my house smelling like an ashtray). It is also CHEAP! There is the initial investment (avoid designer brands, they seriously over charge). I use refill liquid (not all brands are refillable) and it costs me around $40 a MONTH to smoke. And the flavors rock, smoking never tasted so good!

Yes they are real (they are nicotine vaporizers basically).
There are secondary emissions, although not "smoke".
They may be controlled (as tobacco is), or even illegal in some places.
