Is It Normal for Asthma Symptoms to Increase After You Stop Smoking?

Of course it is. If you didn't know, smoking HURTS your lungs. Your lungs don't like it at all, it can be damaging for years after. Your question is like asking my face keeps hurting after I got punched. You've got to think about it. Your lungs have to heel from the damage you've done to them, and it could take awhile. My grandfather died of emphysema twenty years after he quit smoking. If you had asthma to begin with, then its probably going to be a lot harder and worse for your lungs vs. someone who didn't have asthma to begin with. Well thats my perspective on it. If you want a 100% correct answer, then you should call your doctor and ask him.
