Obviously, no cigarettes, no drugs. But weed is natural, right? I don't usually smoke weed, but my friend got pregnant and tried smoking weed. It was the only thing that seemed to numb the pain..but what effects could it have on the baby? And if the smoke is the problem, how about taking it another way, like brownies, etc?
Suggestion:
There hasn't been a ton of research on the topic. Early in the 80's I believe there was some done and they didn't see any major problems. Of course avoid actually smoking it because just like cigarettes the smoking is dangerous. However I myself would never feel comfortable taking weed in any form while pregnant. I would rather not gamble my child's health or possible long term effects on their system. I won't even take a perscribe medication until my pregnancy and breastfeeding time is over.
