I've been writing songs recently. They're very depressing. I'm not entirely sure why they are, but I guess that's just the way they happen to turn out.
There's only one recently that started out depressing and turned into an electronic dance theme.
It started like this:
I know there's something more (x5)
I've lived a lie
I've lived in hell.
What more is there to tell?
I've felt like I might die.
And it turned into:
Raise your hands count 1, 2, 3 (1 2 3)
On the count of three rise to the ceiling.
(1, 2, 1 2 3 go!)
It's a wicked dance party,
everybody's looking for
we're going to dance until we break.
You've gotta count 1 2 3 before you
raise your hands.
we're not gonna stop tonight (no!)
Going to carry on until tomorrow.
You think you're getting tired? (oh-oh no.)
Cuz we're just getting started! (a-alright.)
Step 1, clap your hands to the beat.
Don't lose your time.
Step 2, move your body (move your body x3)
Now you're ready (let's go.)
We're like a cyclone.
This pparty'slast all night (long)
Don't do you worry (worry x3)
Smoke will follow beauty (beauty)
I find it strange that something so strange can turn into something so happy. Is that bizarre, or is it just me? I don't know.
I also wanted to get into the music business, but writing music is my hobby. I also don't play an instrument besides the Violin. I may be getting guitar lessons soon.
My questions:
1. Do I write music well?
2. What could I do to make it better.
3. Tips for getting noticed.
Suggestion:
You write music very well however i think you should set one tone to the music and leave it at that. U wanna get noticed? get a manger or move to LA or NY…. So on lighter note, listen to the crap on the radio today and this is WAY better than that so I applaud you for that alone.
