A Christian who has struggled with drugs in the past and now clean from them 10 year, gave up smoking after 15 years and clean from that now 5 years, but still trying to give up the drinking…gave that up for three years, but now struggling with it again…any advice?

If they are trying to quit through a.a. with man's crap and bright ideas they will have to struggle all their life. If they give it to God they will have effortless change. We pull the weeds from the surface where God starts at the roots. On the surface it may appear to be getting worse when given to God but soon it blows away like tumble weeds because the roots are gone and it doesn't regrow.
