Depends on their employer but I would say most likely you could lose your job. The firm doesn't want to have the reputation for having attorneys that get high while they're working on cases. People tend to not want lawyers that do that if they're paying them a lot of money. If your firm works for NORML then the story might be different.
Suggestion:
ANY person can be fired for smoking marijuana. Federal law prohibts such; state laws regarding medical pot do not protect employment.
