I Thought the Withdrawl Symptoms from Quitting Smoking Were Supposed to Away by Now?

hi everyone. I finally quit smoking after 27 years. I do notice some good changes, mainly in my breathing. But now I have other problems…. I've been 'quit' since last Sunday – 8 days now.

I am constantly aggitated, tired as crap, and my throat hurts something awful. Is this normal??? i thought all this was supposed to go AWAY after a week?

I have dumdum pops for the cravings, hard candy and throat losenges, water and hot tea to drink, and get lots of rest. I am taking vitamin C and B complex.

Any advice on what else to do would be very much appreciated, as well as knowing if this is normal or not!

Suggestion:

It takes longer than 8 days! I smoked for 26 years, and quit a little over 11 months ago. I still have cravings, but their real mild for the most part. Keep up the good work!

I used Chantix when I quit, you might talk to your Dr about it
