I Need Help Quitting Smoking?

Yeah i know I'm stupid, but i used to smoke for about a year. after a really hard breakup with a guy i went out with for a year, i started agin because i was really stressed. not a good idea. ive been smoking for a while now, not a pack a day, but just as a stress reliever. I can't stop now. i'm not 18 and i need some tips on quitting. i really want to and my new boyfriend wants me too, as well as alot of my friends. i have the desire and a support group, but i just can't. help?

Suggestion:

You are not stupid, you are weak. What you need to do is face the problem (which it seems you are doing) and make a determination to STOP SMOKING.
I was a smoker for 30 years and quit (cold turkey, so to speak) by using the following system-

-acknowledge you have a problem
- make a determination that you must quit
- on paper, make a list of 'pros' & 'cons'
- convince yourself that you must quit
- continue to tell yourself you want to quit
- DO NOT RUSH to quit
- convince yourself to quit
Quitting is like 95 % mental. You don't need any chemicals. All you need is the desire and the will power to do so. Once you convince yourself that you will stop smoking, you will be able to.

As I said, I smoked for 30 years and quit. I stopped on January 5, 1900 and have never gone back (relapsed). And never regretted it.
