Alright, please take this seriously because i need help. Ok, I am 16 years old and finally decided to stop smoking marijuana just about a month ago because i became terribly depressed. I have only been smoking for around a year on and off. Some weeks i would smoke 5 times a week and others i wouldn't smoke at all. I am still feel like my head is really messed up. These are some of the symptoms that are occurring….
-lost personality
-lack of social skills
-low confidence
-feeling like theirs nothing to live for
-sleeping for most of the day
-bad anxiety
-cant focus
-mood swings
-anger
-nervousness
-lost friends
-no memory
The reason i have concluded is that im not really depressed anymore but i just have no working memory. I can hardly remember everything i did yesterday and i have not smoked in over a month!
I feel like my memory is affected all these symptoms because i forgot who i really am and what i did that made me be myself. I cant even think straight half the time. I believe marijuana did this to me because there are no underlying problems. If anyone has any idea how i could fix my memory/problems please help. I would like to find a way to get a prescription to help with my memory. I don't know weather i should see a doctor or therapist. Please give your advice, thank you.
Suggestion:
Since you were smoking for a long time, it does take a long time to fully clear your system. You might not test positive for drugs anymore, but the effect still lingers on for a while.
What you are experiencing the memory problems and the lack of focus sounds like withdrawal systems. Do you also feel like you crave the marijuana? If so, then yes it's withdrawal.
