I Am Quitting Smoking, Are Severe Body Aches Normal? (22 Year Old 5 Yr Smoker)?

I quit smoking on September 16, 2010, from 10-15 sticks a day to 2 a day, and to 0 on any day I have off work. The main side effect I'm writing about is body aches. Have you ever had the flu and had those awful body aches all over? Where your muscles hurt, (I call it muscle fever) and even your skin feels sensitive to the touch? I have that, and nobody else seems to be listing that as a quitting smoking side effect.
I feel nauseous all the time, it feels weird all the way up to my throat. My heart hurts on and off, mostly when I'm in a relaxed state. I sense a bad taste in my mouth, and I feel icky even shortly after a relaxing bubble bath. My throat hurts. I know most of these are normal or common…
I just feel awful and need to vent. I'm not going to smoke again, as I hope all of this will stop soon and I will be normal again.
I feel like I'm depressing or annoying all my peers whining about my symptoms all the time. I wish people would understand what I am going through.

Suggestion:

These are classic drug withdrawal symptoms and will clear up only AFTER you totally quit the sticks. By smoking 1 or 2 a day you are just maintaining the nasty withdrawal symptoms. They will definitely not last any longer than 7 days after you go cold turkey. The craving for the smoke will start to fade after 30 days. Remember to drink lots of distilled water. This will help remove the chemicals from your body.
Congratulations and best of wishes to you!
