My dad had pneumonia a few years ago and has been told he has limited lung capacity due to tissue scarring in his lungs from the pnuemonia.
He is still smoking, even though he struggles to get about and do day to day chores. Has about 2-3 naps a day because he gets worn out.
So my question is how can I get him to see that by quiting smoking will help him a little bit and probs prolong his life a lot longer than he already has.
BTW he is 60 years old.
Suggestion:
Sorry sweetie but you can't make anyone do anything.
He's heard all the warnings and has made his decision to carry on smoking. Nagging him will only make him more determined not to give up.
