I'm not a smoker, but I occasionally have a cigarette when I out drinking with friends (normally just one cigarette) no more than once a week. I'm not addicted. I am putting myself in much danger?
Suggestion:
one cigarette can do the damage..
but between u and me, cigarettes arent as dangerous or addictive as people put them out to be

Hard to say how much risk there is. There's no real way of measuring it, since there are the few chain-smokers out there that don't suffer any side-effects at all.
Considering that passive smoking carries a risk, I'd say that the odd cigarette can still cause damage. (Perhaps even more, since your body's not building up any resistance from frequent use – don't take my word for it though)
If you only have one every now & then, and you claim not to be addicted – it should be easy enough for you to stop. That should put an end to any uncertainty. Cigarette smoke carries a good number of toxins – they're bad for you in any amount, so it's best just to cut the habit, however small.
