How Do I Look Natural Smoking?

I'm not a smoker, never have been, but I'm in a play, and my character is.
We're using stage cigarettes, the kind that you blow out and dust, or "smoke" appears, but I want it to look very natural.
I don't think I'm doing too bad a job, I'm holding the cigarette pretty loose, not too stiff.
But what I'm worried about it the fact that with an actual cigarette, you inhale and then exhale the smoke, but in this case I'd have to exhale the dust/smoke, and then exhale again.
So how can I make it look natural? (:

Suggestion:

You've probably seen people smoking before, whether it was for a brief moment or you're around people who do all the time.

Put the cigarette in between your index and middle fingers, that's how most people smoke it. And while you smoke act casual. Don't focus on smoking, rather focus on whats happening in the play.

If you have an ice cream cone and you're watching a movie, you'll be watching the movie with more focus than you are licking your ice cream. Smoke slowly and not so tense.
