Deciding to Quit Smoking…. Help?

Im thinking off quitting smoking and i have a few questions.
first when you dont get a cigarette for a awhile you start to 'feen'(get very irritable)
when this happens can going for a walk help calm you and forget about the cigarettes? i know not being around smokers will help tremendously, so getting away when you want one help you subside the feelings and urges?

another thing. (im not going to do this and i hope no ones does) but right after you stop smoking can being put on oxygen speed up the time it takes to quit? smoking takes your oxygen away, so using oxygen replace it fast?

ok thanks for your help. ;]

Suggestion:

I think going for a walk is a good idea – although I can still see forgetting about them altogether would be very difficult. Not being around smokers is a bright idea by itself though. :-)

As to the second part – using concentrated oxygen as a replacement for natural breathing can't result in anything good, I'd avoid that plan if I were you. There are some more practical ways to escape smoking listed in the source box site – take a look and see what works for you; everyone is different.
