I am currently smoking Newports heavily, I'm enlisting in the Marine Corps. I am trying to quit, but anyone who is a heavy smoker should know how hard it is. I've heard of Blu cigarettes, electronic cigarettes with no chemicals other then nicotine, I hear is a lot healthier for you and has no smoke to ruin your lungs. I'm not to sure about this product so anyone who has it, is it healthier or not?
Suggestion:
Never in a million years did I think I would give up tobacco. I have been "smoking" (vaporizing, actually) e-cigarettes for just more than three months now. When I first started, I was vaping about the equivalent of what I was smoking cigarette-wise, but now, I rarely vape at all. At the rare I am going, I will be nicotine-free in a few more months.
As for healthier, no doubt about it. With approximately 4,000 fewer chemicals, and no tar in the lungs, you will find your breath improve rapidly. I'm 62 years old, been smoking for more than 45 years, and a few days ago I was out in the yard doing cartwheels with my niece. Haven't felt this healthy in years.
I would certainly urge you to look into electronic cigarettes. I use the firelight, as I like the smaller, lightweight size. There is even one called "Stealth" which was designed for soldiers to use in combat situations.
Just one thing — you say you smoke menthols, and most people say they don't get the true "menthol" satisfaction from an e-cig. Also, if you smoke methol, you have a double addiction whammy, as menthol is as addictive — and THE most dangerous of the tobacco additives — as nicotine.
