Before you answer please read. I know that smoking is bad & I dont need a lecture on it. Just an answer to my question…
I am 21 and going to be put on birth control, most likely the patch very soon. I have never had any health problems. And I am a smoker, but not like the usual smoker. I can go weeks without smoking and then get very stressed and smoke for a week, then quit again. Usually during the times I am smoking, I rarely ever smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day. Also I always smoke when I drink, which may be once or twice a month. I have a lot of friends that smoke and take the pill and have never had any bad reactions, and they smoke more than I do. I always hear how smoking and birthcontrol are a bad mix, especially for women over 35. But since I am not 35 or older, and do not smoke every single day, what are my risks, or are the risks just as great??
