Are pictures of corpses really a deterrant from smoking?

The new campaign to put pics of corpses and diseased lungs on cig packs are supposed to deter a nicotene addiction?

If I were a smoker, I'd still smoke regardless of the "artwork" on the side.

Suggestion:

I smoke and a picture of a corpse isn't going to do a thing to make me quit.

I'm trying to quit right now but having a very hard time. I'm 26 years old and had an xray taken of my lungs I've already got Emphazyma forming.

I wish I could quit but it's hard for me to go 2 hours with out a smoke I've made it about 14 hours before with out one but was extremely angry and I couldn't get it off of my mind.

Starting smoking was the stupidest thing I ever did. I hope I can quit it's had nothing but negative effects on my life.
